The welcome dinner is a warm, casual gathering where guests can settle in, reconnect, and kick off the wedding festivities. It’s a chance to mingle with both families, share stories, and enjoy a relaxed evening before the big day. Expect good food, heartfelt toasts, and a joyful atmosphere that sets the tone for the celebrations ahead.
BREAKFAST is available from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM in the Monte Carlo Room of the Chateau Elan Winery Resort.
The Haldi ceremony is a beloved tradition observed in many Indian cultures, typically held a day or two before the wedding. At its heart, it’s a joyful and symbolic ritual where a paste made from turmeric and other natural ingredients is gently applied to the bride and groom’s face, hands, and feet. This practice is said to purify, protect, and bless the couple as they prepare to begin their new life together.
What begins as a calm, meaningful ritual quickly blossoms into a vibrant celebration. With family and friends gathered close, the ceremony often transforms into a spirited, Holi-like festival of turmeric—filled with music, laughter, and bursts of golden color.
Guests are not only welcome but encouraged to join in the festivities. Whether it’s dancing, singing, or getting playfully smeared with turmeric, the Haldi ceremony is all about embracing the moment, celebrating love, and making unforgettable memories together. Come ready to participate—and maybe get a little messy!
The Sangeet is where the celebration truly begins! This joyful evening brings together family and friends from both sides to honor the happiness surrounding the couple and to kick off the wedding festivities in style. It’s a night filled with laughter, music, and dancing—an opportunity to create lasting memories as two families come together.
One of the highlights of the evening is the series of dance performances, thoughtfully choreographed by loved ones. These performances are not only a fun way to celebrate, but they also help deepen the bond between the families and the couple. Watching friends and relatives come together through music and movement is a beautiful reminder of the support and love surrounding the bride and groom.
Beyond the performances, the Sangeet is a chance for everyone to relax, enjoy great food, and soak in the festive atmosphere. Whether you’re catching up with old friends or meeting new faces, this evening offers the perfect blend of celebration and connection. We look forward to sharing this special night with you and making unforgettable memories together.
BREAKFAST is available from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM in the Monte Carlo Room of the Chateau Elan Winery Resort.
BAARAT AT 10:00 AM
Traditionally, the baarat is for the groom and the groom's family, but all are welcome to join in on the fun!
The baarat starts the wedding off! It is a lively wedding procession in Indian culture, where the groom travels to the bride's location with his family and friends, typically accompanied by music and dancing. It's a joyous celebration signifying the groom's journey to meet his bride at the wedding mandap (ie, wedding altar).
WEDDING CEREMONY AT 11:00 AM
The Wedding Ceremony unites two souls spiritually, mentally and physically. The bond of matrimony is sacred and the ceremony of marriage is conducted according to Vedic traditions. The ceremony will be conducted in the ancient Hindu language of Sanskrit and translated to English by the priest.
